I charge 1.5 – 2.5 cents per square inch for edge to edge quilting, depending on the complexity and density of the longarm pattern. Complex or higher density patterns require more time and thread to stitch the pattern. High quality quilt thread is included. Minimal ironing is included if needed from shipping.

Here is a simple way to calculate the size of your quilt: 

 If your quilt top is 60 inches x 80 inches, multiply 60×80=4,800 square inches. Now multiply 4,800 by 0.0175  for the total of $84 for quilting.

There is a minimum charge of $45.00 for any quilting. The maximum size that fits on my longarm is a king size quilt, or 123”.

7.25% sales tax will be added to your service invoice if you purchase batting or fabric.

Once I receive your quilt top, it is added to the quilting que. I will email you an estimate invoice for your approval. Once approved, your quilt will be quilted in the order it arrived, usually 1-2 weeks.  Once completed, you will receive a final invoice by email with the total amount due. Upon payment, your quilt is carefully packaged and promptly shipped back to you or  you can schedule a pick up time. Delivery is available for local residents.

Batting is a critical component of your finished quilt and your choice of batting greatly depends on the purpose or use of your quilt.  I offer a variety of Premium Hobbs batting for purchase by the inch so you only buy what you need.  

• 80/20  Premium cotton poly blends are composed of long staple cotton fibers and fine polyester creating a strong, longwearing batting. I carry this in 96” and 120” wide, natural.
• 100% premium cotton will give the traditional flat look and holds true to its shape. Cotton is a breathable fiber and provides warmth and comfort. I carry this in 96” wide, bleached. I recommend bleached for white or light quilts.
• Polydown Plus  batting is made of very fine, white, denier polyester which allows for a soft feel and lovely drape. It’s bonded to resist bearding and migration. It’s machine washable, non-allergenic, and maintains its loft.  Not recommended for darker quilts as this batting may be visible at the stitches.
• 80/20 cotton poly blend 108” wide available in black upon request.

You are always welcome to provide your own high-quality batting. The batting will need to be slightly larger than your quilt top. An extra 3 inches on all four sides is sufficient.
